I have been playing with my new stamps today and practicing coloring with my copics. I asked the experts last night for some suggestions on light and shadow and got some terrific advice on how to fix what I was doing wrong. After reading everything I was told I went to work on this cute little guy and think that it did turn out much better than my first couple of attempts with my copic markers.
This little dragon is from Stampavie, isn't he adorable!!! My oldest loves dragons so I figured this would be a great stamp for cards for him. The sentiment is from an SU set called Family Phrases. I stamped this with Wild Wasabi on the same color cardstock and punched with my word window punch and then layered it onto a piece of Pumpkin Pie punched with the Modern Label punch. The card base is Pumpkin Pie and the other layer is Wild Wasabi. I found this designer paper in a pack of paper I bought years ago and thought it went well with my little dragon. To finish this card up, I added Pumpkin Pie striped ribbon, rhinestones and crystal effects on to the balloon.
Enjoy and have a great day,
Ronda
